Imma tell you what doesnt work PROACTIVE!!!! That shit doesnt work at all, it actually worsens your acne!!!! I recommend going to a Dermatologist. Ever since my brother started going to the Dermatologist his acne has gotten a lot less worse and his face is clearing up.

I recommend Proactiv. I use it. It works. At first it made my skin worse. Then in about 2 weeks it improved, remarkably!
I had the same problems with acne for like 6 years or so. I used skin ID and get rid of acne wuite fast but then I had bad scars all over my face. And the worst thin was that acne was back within a next month.
Then I was lucky to found product called Zenmed Derma Cleanse. With Zenmed I get rid of acne in 3 weeks and I kept taking vitamins for two more months to prevent any future acne. And now everything is great even without any regular health diet or activity.
