I’m 20 years old and should be past the puberty-style acne but it’s terrible and often stress activated. I’ve tried proactive, I’m on Yaz and about 1000 of countless other acne prevention products and programs. Is there a prescription or OTC remedy people who have failed with the same products have found successful? I’d really prefer to hear from people who have similar skin and tried the same products and have the same issues.

okay well, i moderate acne, i mostly have pimples, white heads, and black heads.
i also have dry skin so i can’t really use anything that will dry my skin out because the dead skin will build up and cause more acne. I exfoliate everyday to wash away the dead skin. but my acne never really subsides at all… i have used many over the counter drugs.

so… are there any good inexpensive acne products that you may think would work for my skin?

I have VERY sensitive skin.
I know products work differently for each person, but I was just wondering if anyone had found something that works good.
Over a two year period, I’ve tried Clean & Clear facial clenser, clinique, clearisel, proactive, and a couple more.
I can’t afford a doctor.

my skin is a combination & it’s very sensitive & i have had acne since i started high school 4 years ago. i’ve been prescribed differin (that only irritated my skin) & i tried so many over-the-counter products like neutrogena, clean & clear, st. ives, etc. i am currently using cetaphil but it’s not doing my skin any good.

i was thinking about trying philosophy products or maybe clinique.

any suggestions?
oh, i forgot to mention that i did try pro-active. there was no visible improvement on my skin though & thanks for your suggestion.

I want something for acne, i want something to make my skin soft not oily, and what is a good natural makeup that doesn’t make your skin oily and that looks natural, powder or foundation or both.
